Odie O. Randolph

Odie O. Randolph, 95, of Millersburg died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Avalon Village, Ligonier.

He was born Aug. 12, 1922 in Jackson County, West Virginia to Charles W. and Lucy (Johnson) Randolph.

On May 4, 1947 he married Mourine Hackney in Kanawaha County, West Virginia.

She survives along with a daughter, Lurita (Grant) Farrand of Montross, Virginia; son, Larry (Alice) Randolph of Millersburg; daughter-in-law, Hilda Randolph of Goshen; three grandchildren, Ronda (Ron) Ward, Melissa (Derek) Meade and Matt (Lauren) Farrand; a great-grandson, Michael Farrand; and a brother, Clifford (Lois) Randolph of Ripley, West Virginia.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Garry Randolph, grandson, Stephen Farrand, and eight siblings, Alice Harvman, Adria, Darrell, Ronald, Hobart, Cody, Lester and Dennis Randolph.

Mr. Randolph was a WWII veteran, serving in the United States Army for four years.  He worked at Mt. Vernon Dairy, CrisCraft Boat Company and retired from StarCraft Marine, New Paris.

Odie enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

A graveside service with military honors will be conducted Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.
