Odena C. Miller

Odena C. Miller, 79, of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, May 10, 2014, at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been since April 13. She was born August 24, 1934 in Kalona, Iowa to Clemens and Mattie (Miller) Miller. She is survived by a sister, Katie Troyer, Mio, Mich. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her parents; eight sisters, Lizzie Bontrager, Barbara Miller, Mahala Yoder, Nettie Ring, Mary Ann, Mattie, Fannie and Alice Miller; and five brothers, Joni, John C., Eddie C., Freddie C. and Clemens Jr. Miller. A longtime Elkhart County resident, Miss Miller moved back to the area in Jan. 2012, coming from Florida. She enjoyed sewing, flower gardening and oil painting. She worked as a LPN at both Fountainview and Greencroft health care. Friends may call Thursday from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Former Greencroft chaplain Dee Swartz will officiate. Burial will follow at Clinton Union Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Greencroft Foundation.
