Norma M. West, 88, of Goshen, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 13, 2016, at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born January 12, 1928 in Elkhart County to Albert and Cecil (Hardesty) Juday.
On December 11, 1943 she married Robert Eugene West in Goshen. He died October 11, 2011.
Survivors include two children, Dan L. (Ruth) West and Judy A. (Joe) French, both of Goshen; five grandchildren, Jamie Lehman, Rob West, Fritz Musser, Andy French and Rachel French; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Carol Marie Musser and 13 siblings, Commador Wogoman, Gladys Evans, Hattie Belle Kline, Ruby Yoder, Elizabeth Sommers, Bob Juday, Leonard Juday, Kenneth Juday, Leona Ryman, Irene Ravenscroft, Florence Pretty, George Juday and Helen Juday.
A lifetime area resident, Mrs. West owned and worked as a bookkeeper at Eastside Electric. She was a longtime poll worker for the Republican Party and a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and First Presbyterian Church, Goshen.
Friends may call Friday, January 15, 2016 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A Saturday, January 16, 2016, funeral service will start at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Goshen. Pastor Brenda Fritz will officiate.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Boys and Girls Club of Goshen or Interfaith Hospitality.
