Norma J. Hershberger

Norma J. Hershberger, 86, of Goshen, died Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Majestic Care Healthcare.

She was born November 17, 1935 in New Paris to Osee and Mary (Welty) Weaver.

In November 1954 she married Vernon L. Hershberger. He died October 2, 2021.

She is survived by six children, Beverly Rink of Goshen, Cindy (Kelly) McCarthy of Osceola, Deborah (Tony) Chupp of New Paris, Dennis (Cindy) Hershberger of Elkhart, Gail Hershberger and Doug Hershberger, both of Goshen; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a sister, Jewell Wiggens of Dowagiac, Michigan.

Along with her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by 10 siblings, Bertha Krebs, Faye Kauffman, LaVeta Stuckman, Elberta Landenberger, Opal Weaver, and Francis, Glen, Kenneth, Jay and Stanley Weaver.

Mrs. Hershberger was a loving homemaker and long-time member of New Paris Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed cooking and being in the garden.

The family will have a private service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Norma’s wishes were to be cremated.
