Norma Lee Ganger, 85, of Goshen, died Tuesday evening, August 21, 2012, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born September 6, 1926 in Goshen to the late Roy Pittman and Irene (Bowman) Pittman Gibson. She married Dale V. Ganger July 4, 1945 near Goshen. He died August 9, 2002. Surviving is a daughter, Glenna (Dale) Pletcher of Goshen; a son, Jeff (Grace) Ganger of Chandler, Arizona; a son-in-law, Burton Showalter of Goshen; an aunt, Dorabelle Aust of Goshen; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Showalter October 11, 2009; a sister, Annabelle Taylor Culbert and a brother, Dean Pittman. A 1944 graduate of Goshen High School, she was a member of People's Bible Church, Benton and owner of Ganger's Grill for nine years. While at Greencroft she was very involved in their activities. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 24, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor John Randolph will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Greencroft Samaritan Fund or the donor's choice.
