Norma R. Conrad, 93, of Goshen and formerly of Illinois, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at home.
She was born August 26, 1928 in Protection, Kansas to Elmer and Erma (Troyer) Zimmerman.
A 1946 graduate from Hesston College and Bible School, Hesston, Kansas, she married Rodger Conrad, November 30, 1952 in Protection, Kansas. He died March 23, 1995.
Survivors include three siblings; a sister, JoAnn Day of Amarillo, Texas, and two brothers, Alfred (Nancy) Zimmerman of Protection, Kansas and Mike (Louise) Zimmerman of Meridian, Idaho.
Along with her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by three sisters, Elsie Gunden, Lois Lauffer and Ruby Stotts; and three brothers, Elmer, James, and Earl Zimmerman.
Mrs. Conrad attended First Congregational Church of Rock Falls, Illinois, where she served many years as a treasurer and did lots of volunteer work.
After a long career in the medical field, she retired from CGH Medical Center in Sterling, Illinois. She loved to travel, especially with her sisters and always looked forward to attending the Troyer family reunions, church activities, and eating out with friends.
According to her wishes, her cremated remains will be placed at her nephew’s lake cottage in Indiana alongside her husband, Rodger, sister, Ruby, and niece, Carla Davis.
