Noble K. Sink

Noble K. Sink, 100, died Tuesday morning, January 11, 2011, at Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa.  He had been in failing health the past two years. He was born in Owen County, Indiana, on October 24, 1910, to Thomas and Iva (Kaylor) Sink.  He married Mary R. Workman in South Bend on April 16, 1931.  She died March 24, 1995. He is survived by a daughter, Loretta (Sam) Mast and a son, Ronald C. (Rebecca) Sink, both of Goshen; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Lois Sink of Kirklin and Ruth Sink of Frankfort. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosanah Jane Sink in 1932; a grandson, Scott Sink in 1977; two sisters, Coleen Reiber and Pauline Giles; and two brothers, Carl and Charles Sink. A lifetime Goshen resident, he was a member of Jefferson Brethren Church.  A carpenter, builder and contractor, he owned Sink and Son Construction for 27 years.  He was an immaculate lawn keeper and loved to fish. Friends may call 10 to 12 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2011, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 12:00, noon funeral service will be conducted.  Pastor Ron Spyker of Jefferson Brethren Church will officiate. Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Scott Sink Memorial Fund at Jefferson Brethren Church.
