Noble E. Kendall, 77, of Lakeland, Florida, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 13, 2016, at South Bend Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 29, 1938 in Goshen to Merle V. and Ruby (Swihart) Kendall.
On February 11, 1961 he married Caris VanInwegen in Goshen.
She survives along with three daughters, Joy Beth (John) Hosier of Naperville, Illinois, Janet (Ken) Lash of Lakeland, Florida and Carla (Bill) Gehman of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Peggy Herendeen of Jackson, Michigan, Sara Wallace of Atlanta, Georgia and Rebecca Wham of Greenville, South Carolina; and a brother, David Kendall, Greenville of South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Cathryn Grace Kendall and two brothers, Ralph and Jack D. Kendall.
Mr. Kendall worked in the banking industry in the information systems management. After his retirement he pastored Lake Murray Evangelical Church in Chapin, South Carolina.
He was a longtime member of Gideons International and a member of Scott Lake Baptist Church, Lakeland. He was always involved in the many ministries of his churches.
Interment will be in Violett Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Living Gospel Church, 302 W. Walnut St., Nappanee.Living Gospel Church
