Nina Miller

Nina Miller, 90, of Goshen, passed away late Monday night, February 17, 2014, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born November 4, 1923 in Cherikov, Belarus to Khariton and Ksenia (Ananich) Kononov. On May 5, 1952 she married William Miller in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by two daughters, Victoria (Andrew) Waters and Patricia (Peter) Oakley, both of Goshen; two sons, G. David Miller of Florida and William (Kristin) Miller of Washington D.C.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a niece. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Maria Panfilow and Anne Conway. A Goshen resident since 1999, Ms. Miller was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church, Goshen. Friends may call one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2014, funeral service at 8th Street Mennonite Church, Goshen. Pastor Brenda Paetkau will officiate. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Heifer International. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting with funeral arrangements.
