Nina K. Bacon

Nina K. Bacon, 59, of Topeka, died Friday night, April 24, 2015, at the home of her son after an extended illness. She was born October 30, 1955 in Indianapolis to Charles and Mary Catherine McNeal. Survivors include a son, James (Michelle) Bacon of Goshen; a daughter, Carla Bacon of Ligonier; five grandchildren, Haley and Dylan Morefield, Hannah Holewinski, Amber and Alexis Bacon; a sister, Cindy McNeal of Indianapolis; and two brothers, Wayne McNeal of Indianapolis and Mike McNeal of Hobart. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dave and Nathan McNeal. An area resident for 20 years, Nina worked as a qualified medical assistant nursing assistant for 22 years. Friends may call Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from 9 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Gross, Grace Bible Baptist Church, New Paris will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Bible Baptist Church.
