Nellie M Penn

Nellie M. Penn, 88, of LaGrange and formerly of Goshen, died Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Life Care Center of LaGrange.

She was born January 23, 1929 in Wabash to Kenneth and Edith (Garrett) Culver.

Survivors include two daughters, Dixie Barton of Denton, Texas and Jane Cooper of Elkhart; a son, James (Lucy) Fearnow of LaGrange; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a sister, Edna Campbell of Wabash.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Packer in 1987, a grandson, and a sister.

Nellie was a member of Healing Hill Cathederal, Delaware, Ohio.  She owned and operated several businesses including, Home for Elderly, Pennelles Cleaning Service, Roadrunner Reruns, and Ministry Tours.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at Violett Cemetery.  Rev. Jim Shrock will officiate.
