Nellie R. Larimer

Nellie R. Larimer, 91, Satsuma, Florida, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, at Lakewood Nursing Center, Crescent City, Florida.  She was born December 2, 1915, in Goshen, Indiana, to Harry and Faye (McKibbin) Chiddister.   On August 21, 1938, she married John E. Larimer.   She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Sidney Chiddister, and a stepdaughter, Phyllis Weaver.   She was a homemaker and worked for several years as secretary for Elkhart County Tuberculosis Office.  A 1933 graduate of Millersburg High School, she was a member of Plymouth United Church of Christ in Goshen where she served as the church organist.  She was an active member of Hermits Cove Club in Satsuma for many years.   Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Marilyn) Gray, Satsuma; a stepson, Paul (Margaret) Larimer, Goshen and Sebring, Florida.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Donald (Peggie) Gallahue, Wabash, Indiana; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.    A memorial service will be held on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Koepke, former pastor of Plymouth Church of Christ officiating.    Interment will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial gifts may be made to Plymouth United Church of Christ, 902 S.
