Neil H. Kohl, 83, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Waters of Warsaw Nursing Home.

He was born November 22, 1939 in Auburn to Curt W. and Georgina D. (Quince) Kohl. Neil lived in Auburn the early part of his life prior to moving to Goshen.

Neil was employed with Goshen Rubber for 17 years and Homecrest (Masterbrand) Cabinets for 26 years before retiring at the age of 62.

A member of New Paris Church of the Nazarene, Neil enjoyed time with family and golfing.

He is survived by two sons, Michael (Kathy) Kohl of Warsaw and Jerry Kohl of Goshen; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert C. Kohl; wife, Janice (Marks) Kohl; and a son, Steven H. Kohl.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held Friday, April 7, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the New Paris Church of the Nazarene with visitation one hour before the service.  Rev. Michael Kohl and Rev. Byron Smith will officiate.

Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
