Naomi Cripe

Naomi Cripe, 89, of Goshen, died Wednesday evening, March 8, 2006, at Americare Living Center, Goshen.  She had been in failing health the past three years.   She was born March 24, 1916, in Goshen, to Clint and Olive Stump.  On September 2, 1934, she married Walter C. Cripe in Goshen.  He died in March 1993.   A lifetime resident of Goshen, Mrs. Cripe was a member of the Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, and had served as church pianist.   She is survived by two sons, Jerry (Darlene) Cripe and Phil (Anne) Cripe, both of Goshen, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; a son, Clair Cripe in 1989; two sisters, Harriet Olive Stump and Viola Alice Stump; and a grandson, Frederick A. Cripe in 1987.   Friends will be received 1 to 2:30 p.m., Friday, March 10, at the funeral home.   A 2:30 p.m. service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2006, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor George Nantz and Rev. George Cripe of the Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church  will officiate.   Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be given to the Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.
