Nancy M. Miller, 76, of Goshen, died Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing. She suffered a stroke Sept. 2017.
Nancy was born July 27, 1943 in Goshen to Charles W. and Audrey (Cart) Sparklin.
On June 3, 1972 she married Floyd C. Miller. He died May 14, 1984.
Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Miller of New Paris and Sheryl Schrameyer of Goshen; two grandsons, Alex (Jessica) Schrameyer and Brandon (fiance, Catie) Schrameyer; two great-granddaughters, Ellie and Isabella Schrameyer and a sister, Florence Sparklin of Goshen.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, John and Phillip Sparklin.
Nancy grew up in Millersburg and graduated from Millersburg High School in 1961. She worked in the athletic department at Goshen College for 22 years, serving as office manager from 1988 to 2010.
Professionally she was a member of PSI (Professional Secretaries International) and IAAA (International Association of Administrative Assistants). Locally she was a member of Peoples Bible Church, Benton; Clintonettes/Clinton Classic Home Extension Club; Goshen Band Boosters and Goshen Chess Club and served as an assistant leader of Bentonettes and Cadets.
In 2012 Nancy won the Elkhart County 4-H Fair Senior Queen Contest.
Visitation will Sunday, May 31, 2020, from 1 to 5 p.m. and again Monday from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, with current COVID19 guidelines in place. Pastor John Randolph will officiate and burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial gifts may be given to Elkhart County Home Extension, Harbor Light Hospice or Cancer Resources for Elkhart County.
