Nancy R. Laribee

Nancy R. Laribee, 73, of Goshen, died Wednesday morning, October 21, 2009, at the Courtyard.  She was born on March 20, 1936 in Pikeville, Kentucky, to the late Perry and Brooksie (Justice) Adkins. She married Henry E. Laribee on December 14, 1982, in Elkhart, Indiana.  He preceded her in death on May 21, 2003.   She is survived by two sons Johnny Robinson, and Larry Robinson, both of Goshen; a special friend Edward Mamoram; three brothers, Elster (Carol) Adkins, Cecil (Wally) Adkins both of Akron, Ohio, and Cletis (Lonetta) Adkins of Pikeville, Kentucky;  and two grandchildren.  Mrs. Laribee was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Reford Adkins.  She had worked as a sales person for Montgomery Ward, and she also worked for the Goshen School Systems where she managed the cafeteria. She was a member of the Riverview General Baptist Church, Elkhart, and the Ladies Auxiliary Chapter # 15 of the D.A.V.  Friends may call 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 22, at the Riverview General Baptist Church, Elkhart. A 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, funeral will be conducted at the Riverview General Baptist Church. Pastor Rick Pirtle of Riverview General Baptist Church will officiate.  Burial will be at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverview General Baptist Church, or the American Heart Association.
