Nancy L. Henderson

Nancy L. Henderson, 80, of Goshen died Tuesday morning, January 26, 2016 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
She was born October 21, 1935 in Saltville, Virginia to Carl and Nannie (Gates) DeBord.
On March 14, 1953 she married Dale C. Henderson in Marion, Virginia. He died July 20, 2006.
Survivors include a daughter, Denise (Don, Jr.) Battles of Goshen and a sister, Brenda (Bud) Frye of Saltville, Virginia.
Along with her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn DeBord, Effie Reeser and Patsy DeBord; and five brothers, Carlton, Bill, Harold, Edward “Stump” and Mack DeBord.
Nancy was a member of Little Pine Church of the Brethren and the Red Hat Society. She worked in food service for many years at Everett’s Grocery and Elcona Country Club.
Friends may call Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor George Bates of Little Pine Church of the Brethren will officiate.
Burial will follow at Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial gifts may be directed to Little Pine Church of the Brethren or Elkhart County Humane Society.
