Nancy Adams Gadson, 66, of Syracuse, died Wednesday afternoon, March 5, 2014 at her home. She was born August 30, 1947 in Goshen, to William "Bill" and Marianne (Leist) Sharp. She is survived by her husband, Larry Gadson; three sons, Ryan (Kristina) Adams, of Middlebury, Chris (Angela) Adams, of Syracuse and Scott Adams, of Bristol; eight grandchildren; and a brother, William Sharp, of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings. Nancy was a dedicated daughter, wife, grandmother and friend. Her loss will be dearly felt by all. She will be remembered fondly for her love of family, decorating, cooking and most importantly for her hospitality. Everyone was always welcome in her home and in her heart. She will be forever remembered for her giving spirit. She gave selflessly without expecting anything in return and was always available to listen and lend a helping hand. Her love extended to her furbabies; she loved them in her typical abandon and would have done anything for them. She loved getting her nails and hair done regularly to keep her spirit upbeat. Shopping was one of her favorite hobbies. She bore her suffering bravely. She is forever loved, forever missed and forever in our hearts. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. A graveside memorial service will be held at Violett Cemetery when the weather is warmer.
