Myron S. Yoder, 84, of Goshen, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
He was born November 25, 1933 in Goshen to Myron S. and Elsie May (Landis) Yoder.
On August 17, 1958 he married Julia Ann Yoder in Sarasota, Florida. She died October 31, 2006.
Survivors include two children, Karen Yoder of North Port, Florida and Kevin (Robin) Yoder of Goshen; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Etta Yoder of Sarasota, Florida.
A graduate of Sarasota High School, Myron attended Goshen College for two years before doing PAX Service in Germany and Austria from 1954-56.
Myron worked in the van, trailer and RV industry for 25 years. He was a volunteer with the Jefferson Fire Department ambulance service. After retirement he worked in the WalMart photo lab where he enjoyed sharing his love for photography with others.
A longtime member of Pleasant View Church, he worked with the audio ministry. He enjoyed making cds for those who could not attend services.
He loved photography and also enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2018, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 11 a.m., Saturday, funeral service at Pleasant View Church. Pastors Ron Diener and Tyler Hartford will officiate.
Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Pleasant View Church CD Ministry.
