Monroe Damron

Monroe Damron, 77, of Goshen, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his residence.

He was born June 11, 1946 in Pikeville, Kentucky to Steve and Juanita (Adkins) Damron.

On June 13, 1993 he married Mary H. Bragg in Goshen.

She survives along with a son, Brian K. Damron, Goshen; four step-children, Stacey L. Lutes, Goshen, Lawrence J. (Cynthia) Kincaid, Goshen, Paula M. Kincaid, Millersburg, Georgetta Y. (Todd) Shiverdecker, Sidney, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Kevin Damron, and a sister, Sally Sayers.

Monroe served in the Army for four years. He enjoyed wood working and loved being outdoors. He worked for the Goshen City parks for 29 years retiring in 2008. After his retirement he worked part time for 2 to 3 years at Fidler Pond.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2024 from 4 until the 6 p.m., funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Cremation will take place after funeral service.
