Miriam Naomi Wenger, 96, of Goshen, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023, at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born October 25, 1927 in Elkhart to Harvey and Eliza (Newcomer) Yoder.
On January 1, 1947, she married Howard Wenger at the OIive Mennonite Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Rhea (Dean) Miller, Bristol and Rose (Mark) Troyer, Lititz, PA; three sons, Rex (Cheremy) Wenger, Columbus, OH, Roy Wenger, Grove, OK and Ron (Rebecca) Wenger, Adair, OK; 13 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 23 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Yoder and Mildred Yoder.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; a sister, Emma Hart and six brothers, Paul, David, Ivan, Carl, Earl and Merrill Yoder.
Mrs. Wenger worked alongside her husband on the dairy farm doing all of the bookkeeping. She had her church membership at Zion Mennonite Church in Pryor, OK. Locally she attended Clinton Frame Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 2 to 6 p.m. and Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Grandson, Rev. Joshua Wenger will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date in Zion Mennonite Cemetery, Pryor, Oklahoma.
Memorial donations may be given to Clinton Frame Church Missions.
