Miriam M. Crisenbery

September 3, 1954 — June 9, 2025

Miriam M. Crisenbery, 70, of Goshen stepped into heaven, June 9, 2025 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born September 3, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to Floyd W. and Edna Mae (Christner) Miller. They preceded her in death.

On May 1, 1976 she married Lee Crisenbery, the love of her life, at Bethel Mennonite Church, Nappanee.

He survives along with their children, Rose (Mike) Epp of Goshen, Gary (Adena) Crisenbery of Prescott, Arizona, Rodney Crisenbery and Todd Crisenbery, both of Goshen; grandchildren, Austin Crisenbery, Brynn (boyfriend, Michael Johnsen) Crisenbery, Julianna (fiancé, Wade Morrison) Epp, Jennifer Epp, Autumn (fiancé, Gabe Wilkerson) Crisenbery, Bryce Crisenbery, and Landon, Maya and Elijah Epp.

Also surviving are siblings, Grace (Tim) Graber of Milford, Faith (TJ) Jenkins of Nappanee, Gloria Banda and Nancy Miller, both of Goshen, Ted (Rose) Miller of Sheldon, Wisconsin and Tim (Karen) Miller of Tyler, Texas.

A loving homemaker, and the best wife, mom, and grandma, Mrs. Crisenbery shared ownership with her husband Lee of their business Crisenbery Plumbing. She appreciated the small things in life, was an avid photographer and life long learner. Miriam stayed on the leading edge of technology; she was known as the family photographer and historian documenting years of life.  Her grandchildren were so important to her, she loved, spoiled, and taught them so many things.  Most important to her was teaching her family to follow Jesus and to enjoy God’s creation.

Miriam was currently attending New Paris Missionary Church. She was devoted to her family and especially to her beloved grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Griner Church, 12418 C. R. 20, Middlebury,  and Monday, June 16 beginning at 9 a.m. prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service also at Griner Church.  Pastor David Hackney, New Paris Missionary Church will officiate.

Burial will follow in Griner Cemetery.
