Mindy (Leek) Smith

Mindy (Leek) Smith, 53, of Howe, died Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Parkview Hospital, LaGrange after a massive stroke.

She was born May 30, 1969, in Elkhart.

On June 13, 2015, she married Michael Smith in Osceola.

He survives along with her parents, Dan R. and Ann (Bowser) Leek, Bristol; a sister, Shannon (Bill) Young, Goshen; two sons, Tyler Plank, Marshfield, Missouri, Cody Plank, Bristol and a stepson, Christian Smith, Howe.

A member of Grace Point Church, Osceola, Mindy was a loving, kind person and enjoyed making people happy.

She worked as an administrative assistant at Keystone RV.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Donations in Mindy’s memory may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
