Mildred McKibbin Woodiel, 83, of Denver, Colorado, died Sunday evening, September 19, 2010, at Highland Rehabilitation and Care Center. She was born in Marshall, Illinois, on October 17, 1926, to Joseph and Anna (Taylor) Goodwin. She married Raymond Victor Nord and the late Harold McKibbin. In 1979 she married William Jefferson Woodiel. He died May 12, 2007. Mrs. Woodiel worked as a sales person in a Ligonier furniture store. She also worked for Monsanto in Ligonier and Motorola in Phoenix, Arizona. She moved to Denver three years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Connie, Gunder of Denver, Colorado; two sons, Dan (Trisha) McKibbin of Goshen and James R. Nord of West Linn, Oregon; a step-son, Thomas Woodiel of Wolcottville; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three step-grandchildren; and a two step-great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason McKibbin. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 23, at the funeral home. An 11 a.m., Friday, September 24, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Slagel and pastoral intern, Rebecca Kauffman, both of East Goshen Mennonite Church will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
