Mildred Marie Malott

Mildred Marie Malott, 98, of Goshen, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at Greencroft Health care.

She was born June 6, 1918 in LaPorte to William B. and Daisy (Wilder) Leady.

On June 20, 1937 she married Robert L. Baker in Goshen.  They divorced.  She then married Donald Malott on January 18, 1991.  He died in 2005.

She is survived by a daughter, Diana Stover of Goshen; six grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, William and Richard Baker and two brothers, Kenneth and William Leady.

A lifetime area resident Mrs. Malott worked at Switches until her retirement in 1980.  She then worked as a cashier for G.L. Perry’s and Judd Drugs.

Friends may call Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow and a graveside service at Violett Cemetery will be conducted at a later date.
