Mildred K. Heeter

Mildred K. Heeter, 92, of Goshen died early Thursday morning, October 29, 2015 at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born August 30, 1923 in Goshen to Rufus and Myrtle (Hall) Shriner. Survivors include a daughter, Sarita (Domenico) Cataldo and a son, Jerry W. (Frances) Heeter, both of Elkhart; six grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Donald and Kenneth Shriner and a sister, Margaret Shriner. A lifelong area resident Mildred worked at South Side Plating in Elkhart and the Bag Factory in Goshen before retiring from L.E. Johnson in 1988. Visitation will be Monday, November 2, 2015 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home from noon until the 2 p.m. graveside funeral service at Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
