Michaela “Kelly” Gay, 69, of Elkhart, died Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Greenleaf Living Center.
She was born February 5, 1949 in Goshen to Earl and Genevieve (Trainor) Albert.
On October 21, 1967 she married Stephen A. Gay in Goshen. He died October 12, 2009.
Survivors include two daughters, Michele (David) Runge of Goshen and Stephanie (Ed) Martinez of Nacogdoches, Texas; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Judy (Larry) Miller of Goshen, Janice (Larry) Neidiffer of Westerville, Ohio and Genevieve (David) Bookman of Pensacola, Florida; two brothers, Timothy (Bobbie, girlfriend) Albert and Christopher (Rita) Albert, both of Goshen and a sister-in-law, Beverly Albert of Goshen.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Phillip, Don and James Albert.
A lifetime Goshen resident, Kelly worked in the office at Skyline for 42 years before retiring.
She enjoyed animals and spending time with family.
Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory and burial will be at Violett Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Elkhart County Humane Society.
