Michael E. Schenk

Michael E. Schenk, 88, of Gosohen died Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born December 8, 1936 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to Ralph B. and Lucille (Lehman) Schenk.

On March 20, 1959 he married Cecelia M. Lewallen in Kokomo.

She survives along with a sister, Patricia and her family of West Linn, Oregon, and three nephews, Larry Michael, Don and Ron Lewallen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Schenk.

Mr. Schenk owned his own company installing lightning rods all over the country. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Goshen and faithful Red Coat volunteer at Goshen Hospital for many years.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. A private service will be held at a later date.
