Michael R. Pruitt

Michael R Pruitt, 55, of Goshen, died of natural causes at his home Sunday, February 12, 2012. He was born August 12, 1956 in Anderson to Grover C. and Stella L. (Hawn) Pruitt. He married Tammy L. Dale January 24, 1976 in Anderson. She survives. Also surviving are his mother, Stella Pruitt of Elwood; two daughters, Michelle (Guy) Hinton of Fort Wayne, and Bridgette (Jay) Parker of Goshen; a son, Jason (Toni) Pruitt of Syracuse; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Christine (Rick) Fisher of Summitville. He was preceded in death by his father, Grover C. Pruitt. A Goshen resident since 1977, Mr. Pruitt was an incredibly loving soul mate and loving father and grandfather who devoted his life to his family. He was a former member of Gold Wing Road Runners Association and Corvette Cheers. Friends may call 11a.m. until the 1p.m., funeral service Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Chupp of Harvest Community Church, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Watcha-Wanna-Do.
