Michael P. Grays, 63, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born March 16, 1958, in Portageville , Missouri to Ellis and Margaret (Jones) Grays.

On March 29, 1991, he married Mary K. Shaffer in Elkhart.

She survives along with two stepchildren, Angela (Jason) Hale of Valparaiso and Jeremy Duncan of Plymouth; five grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret House of Gainesville, Florida, Linda (LaMar) Jefferson of Chicago, Illinois, and Belinda (Rusty) Hodges of Portageville, Missouri; and five brothers, Ellis Grays, Charles (Liz) Grays and Earl (Ruby) Grays, all of Elkhart, John Grays of Missouri, and Sherman Booker of Columbia, Missouri.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Grays.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Jason Hale of Bethel Church, Valparaiso, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the family; Bethel Church, Valparaiso; or Diabetes Association.
