Michael N. Chrisman

Michael N. Chrisman, 60, of Elkhart died Monday evening, January 26, 2015 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born January 23, 1955 in Elkhart to Chauncey Neil and Thelma (Grosse) Chrisman. On September 1, 1979 he married Sharilyn Kay Wilsey in Elkhart. She died April 25, 1982. He is survived by his mother, Thelma of Elkhart; a daughter, Stephanie (Adam) Brown, of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Finley and Connor; a sister, Cathy (Paul) Webb, of Goshen; and a brother, Mitchell Lee (Brenda) Chrisman, of Bristol. He was preceded in death by his father, his wife, and a niece and nephew. A lifelong area resident Michael was a 1973 graduate of Concord High School. He was owner and operator of Chrisman Engineering and Fabrication in Elkhart. Visitation will be one hour prior to the 11 a.m. memorial service Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Reverends Ed and Brenda Fritz will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery following the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for expenses.
