Mia Grace Laxton, 20 days old, of Bristol, left this world to be with Jesus on Saturday, September 4th, 2021, at 4:14 p.m. in her parents’ arms at their home surrounded by family. She fought a hard fight against anencephaly.
Mia is the daughter of Alejandro and Jamey (Waycaster) Laxton.
She is survived by her brother Ezekiel; grandparents James and Terressa Waycaster and Victor and Carol Laxton; great grandparents, Roger and Diane Eaton and Annet Mack and many aunts and uncles who loved her deeply.
She was prayed for deeply by her family and hundreds of people during her short time here.
Mia loved to be snuggled, to be tickled, massaged, kissed, and sung too. She loved laughing, cooing, making eye contact and “asking for kisses” by always leaning into her family’s face. She loved everyone around her, and she was deeply loved. Mia Grace was a gift from Jesus. She will be deeply missed.
If you wish to help the family with funeral expenses, there is a Go Fund Me account set up for Mia’s expenses under “Help the Laxton’s” organized by Terressa Waycaster.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 11 from 11 to 1 p.m. at People’s Bible Church followed by a 1:30 funeral service. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol.
