Menno A. Lambright, 92, of Goshen, died Friday afternoon, February 29, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital where he had been admitted on Tuesday. He was born in Shipshewana, Indiana, on April 8, 1915, to Amos and Susan (Miller) Lambright. He married Katie Miller on December 7, 1939, in LaGrange County. She preceded him in death on December 20, 2007. A Goshen resident since 1986, Mr. Lambright farmed for many years. After retiring from farming he worked for Star Tank for 17 years as a press operator, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Townline Conservative Mennonite Church. He is survived by three daughters, Mabel (Gene) Wagaman and Barbara (Merle Bontrager, both of Goshen, and Bertha (Ervin) Miller of Middlebury; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and two gret-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie; four brothers, Jake, Joe, William and Harry Lambright; and five sisters, Sarah, Lizzie, Laura, Susan and Rosa. Friends may call 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 2, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 3, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Townline Conservative Mennonite Church, Topeka. Grandson and Pastor Steve Gonzales, along with Pastors Mel Eash, Andrew Eversole and Calvin Borntrager will officiate. Burial will be in Townline Conservative Church Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be given to Townline Conservative Mennonite Church.
