Maxine L. Keyser

Maxine L. Keyser, 88, of Goshen, died early Monday morning, December 15, 2008, in Deland, Florida at Florida Hospital.  She had been in failing health since October. She was born in Middlebury on November 21, 1920, to Thomas Edward and Lura (Blackport) McCleary.  She married Daniel A. Keyser on October 3, 1941.  He died November 22, 1989. A homemaker, Mrs. Keyser was a member of the Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen. She is survived by two sons, Dennis (Jeanette) Keyser of Goshen, and Michael (Bonnie) Keyser of Deland, Florida; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Alan) Griffith, Scott (Becky) Keyser, Nate Keyser and Kate Keyser; and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 18 and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 19, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Mission in Elkhart.
