Maxine Lou Coleman, 78, of De Leon Springs, Florida, died Tuesday morning, June 14, 2011, at West Volusia Care Center. She was born in Goshen on December 13, 1932, to the late John F. and Madge Marie (Overholt) Redden. She married David L. "Skip" Coleman on December 22, 1972. He died April 3, 2007. She is survived by three sons, Jim (Angie) McKee of Goshen, Randall L. (Alexina) Evan of Ligonier, and Elwood "Buck" Foster of Dayton, Ohio and De Leon Springs, Florida; two daughters, Kathy Sue (Lonnie) Rake and Karen Lou (Dennis) Boddiger, both of Cromwell; a step-son, Russell J. (sharon) Coleman of Goshen; a step-daughter, Deborah Naylor of Elkhart; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Darlene Troup of Goshen. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Kay McKee; a granddaughter LaDonna Maureen Evans; a brother, Fredrick Arthur Redden; and a sister, Carol Jean Garber. A resident of De Leon Springs since 2006, Mrs. Coleman worked as an inspector at Syracuse Rubber Products for 33 years. Friends may call 1-4 p.m., Sunday, June 19, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 20, 2011, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Brad Cox of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, Syracuse, will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice to Orange City.
