Max K. Weldy, 85, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Elkhart Hospital.

He was born January 31, 1936 in Wakarusa to Arthur and Martha (Holdeman) Weldy.

On August 22, 1954 he married Rhoda Yoder at Pleasant View.

Along with his wife Max was survived by four children, Gary (Mary) Weldy, Larry (Barb) Weldy, Claudia (Doug) Blosser and Dennis (Betty) Weldy all of Goshen; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a great grandson, Keagan Weldy; three sisters, Louis Marks, Vivian Shrock and Verna Cross and a brother, Mearl Weldy.

Max was a member of Pleasant View Church, Goshen. He was a farmer for 35 years and hauled feed for Miller Feed Mill. He enjoyed horses and took mini horses on parades.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2021 from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service at Pleasant View Church. Pastor Mark Snyder and Ron Diener will officiate.

A burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
