Matthew Rowe

Matthew “Matt” Jon Rowe, 62, of Cromwell, died on Monday, September 21, 2026 in Kimmell.

He was born February 14, 1964, in Goshen, to Larry and Carolyn “Jane” (Marquis) Rowe.

Matthew graduated from Goshen High School in 1983. He worked at Dutchman as a forklift driver which then later became Keystone for 26 years.

An avid outdoorsman, Matt enjoyed hunting. He had a love for animals, which included raising them as well. He was known for his mischievous nature and playing tricks. He felt most at home in the woods on his property.

Surviving are his father, Larry, Goshen; and two sisters, April (Ben) Newby of Cochran, Georgia, and Elizabeth “Betsy” Rowe of South Bend.

He was preceded in death by his mother, who died on December 14, 2023.

A private graveside service at Violett Cemetery will be held with Father Brian Florin officiating.
