Mary A. Wray

Mary A. Wray, 90, of Goshen, died early Monday morning, August 4, 2014, at Courtyard Healthcare. She was born May 17, 1924 in Kosciusko County to George and Marie (East) Marquess. On March 23, 1944 she married Robert H. Wray in Atwood. He died August 12, 2013. She is survived by two sons, Jim (Cathy) Wray of Goshen and Jeff (Lori) Wray of St. Charles, Illinois; two daughters, Barbara Wray and Nancy (Steve) Petry, both of Goshen; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a sister, Carolyn Sue Marquess and a brother, Lowell Marquess. A homemaker and wonderful seamstress, Mrs. Wray was a lifetime member of both the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member of Plymouth United Church of Christ. Friends may call on Sat., August 9, from 10 a.m., until the 1 p.m., funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Linda Sue Hewitt, Plymouth United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be given to Plymouth United Church of Christ.
