Mary Lou Wogomon, 94, of Goshen, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, afternoon at her home. She was born in Goshen on October 2, 1920 to Hallie and Magdalene M. (McKibbin) Larimer. On October 16, 1936 she married Donald G. Wogomon in Wabash. Survivors include a daughter, Julia (Art) Stauffer of Goshen; six grandchildren, Deb Stauffer of Goshen, Tonya, Greg, Shelly and Tammy Wogomon, all of Texas and Jackie Sue Evans of Goshen; Adrian and Thomas D. Evans, great-grandsons she raised, both of Goshen; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wogomon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a son, Donald G. Wogomon; a daughter, Susan J. Evans; a grandson, T. David Evans; and three brothers, Tom, Keith and Dick Larimer. A lifetime Goshen resident, Mrs. Wogomon was a charter member of Maplecrest Country Club and a former member of the Elks and Moose Lodges. She had worked in time controls at The Old Bag Factory; and Klines and The Catherine Shop. She helped organize and found the parent teacher association in the Goshen Schools. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, June 5, 2015, at The First Presbyterian Church, Goshen, starting at 11 a.m. Rev. Alan Griffin will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to Bashor Children's Home or DeFries Gardens, New Paris.
