Mary M. Wagner, 103, of Wakarusa, died Tuesday evening, June 24, 2008, at Miller Merry Manor. She was born in Middlebury, Indiana, on September 29, 1904, to Andrew and Lamora (Ringler) Miller.  She married Carl C. Wagner on August 28, 1925, in Cassopolis, Michigan.  He died June 6, 1950. A lifetime resident of the area, Mrs. Wagner was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Goshen, Michiana Seniors Deaf Club, South Bend Deaf Club, Elkhart Deaf Club, Extension Homemakers, and a life member of the Women’s V.F.W. Auxiliary #985.  She was an avid bowler until she was 89 years old. Mrs. Wagner had attended the Indiana State School for the Deaf. She is survived by four daughters, Betty M. Geyer, Mary Utley and Dorothy Stutzman, all of Goshen and Florence (Reuben) Anders of Sarasota, Florida; two sons, Fred (Evelyn) Wagner of Boise, Idaho, and Robert W. (Diane) Wagner of Goshen; 33 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; two grandsons, Frederick D. Wagner and John A. Sechrist, Sr.; a great-grandson, James D. Geyer, III; three sisters, Laura Bickel, Anna Burris and Edna Minar; and six brothers, William, Melvin, Frederick, Leo, Leroy and Albert R. Miller. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 27, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Ed Fritz of the First United Methodist Church, Goshen will officiate.  Jackie Myers will serve as interpreter. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Archibald Memorial Home.
