Mary Jo Rink

Mary Jo Rink, 57, of Goshen, died Wednesday, May 12, at home following an extended illness.

She was born Jan. 2, 1964 in Goshen to Raymond and Edna (Troyer) Gingerich.

On Oct. 16, 2015 she married George Rink in Brandenburg, Kentucky.

He survives along with her children, Kristi (Jeff) Stetler of Argos, Briana and Danielle Reitz, both of Elkhart; two grandchildren, Nadia and Aubrey; three sisters, Eloise Gingerich of Goshen, Shirley (Donald) Nunemaker of Wakarusa, and Beverly Sutton of Maricopa, Arizona; and three brothers, Wayne (Joan) Gingerich of Hudson, Ronald (Kathy) Gingerich of Wolcottville and Gene (Kim) Gingerich of Goshen.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a niece, Kari Nunemaker.

Mary Jo worked as a health care aide. She enjoyed listening to music, traveling, and finding a glimpse of wild birds in nature. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted Monday, May 17, 2021  at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen.
