Mary D. Rheinheimer, 88, of Ligonier, died Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Parkview Noble Hospital.

She was born December 23, 1933, in Clinton Township, to John and Fannie (Nisley) Hershberger.

Survivors include two daughters, Rochele (Michael) Myers of Warsaw, Ronda (Michael) Lambright of New Paris; two sons, Randall (Joyce) Rheinheimer of Encinitas, California and Ryan (Kimberly) Rheinheimer of Goshen; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lloyd, Ervie, M. Jay and Calvin Hershberger and a sister, Dorothy Hershberger.

Mary enjoyed cooking and was co-owner of E & M restaurant in Goshen. After selling E & M she worked at a variety of restaurants. She was a member of People’s Bible Church, Benton.

Her love for children led her to volunteer at Chamberlain Elementary School as a reading buddy and a Girl Scouts leader.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 24 from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Clinton Brick Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be given to Riley Children’s Hospital.
