Mary Lou Reyes

Mary Lou Reyes, 62, of Goshen, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 9, 2020 at Avalon Village, Ligonier. She was born July 18, 1957 in Goshen, to Richard Allen & Rosella (Peters) Wanamaker. She married José Victor Manuel Reyes, Sr. in Goshen on December 31, 1976. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2012.

Surviving are children José Victor (Marie) Reyes, Jr. of Goshen, Rocky Reyes of Middlebury, Lucy Reyes of Gaston (Miranda) Reyes, and Gloria Reyes, all of Elkhart, and Constantino Paul Reyes of Goshen; 5 grandchildren; sister Patty Ann Wanamaker of Middlebury; brothers Robert Wanamaker of Middlebury, and Donald (Kelly) Wanamaker of Ligonier. She was preceded in death by her husband José, her parents, and brother Thomas Wanamaker.

Mary was a member of TOPS with her sister and mother, and she was also a member of the Goshen DAV. She enjoyed watching home improvement shows and sports. She had a green thumb and loved to garden. Mary was an excellent cook and was very meticulous about it.

Visitation will take place Friday, March 13, 2020 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Following visitation there will be a graveside service at Violett Cemetery.
