Mary Louise Miller, 77, of Wakarusa, died Sunday evening, April 8, 2012, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born September 11, 1934 in Belleville, Pennsylvania, to Samuel and Julia (Yoder) Peachey. She married Ray L. Miller July 1, 1960 in Goshen. He preceded her in death May 1, 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy (Richard) Damm of Wakarusa; a son, Jeffrey S. (Myra) Miller of Huntertown; four grandchildren; four sisters, Sarah (Norman) Glick of Belleville, Pennsylvania, Lois (Willard) Yoder of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, Julia King of Allensville, Pennsylvania and Lydia Frey of Goshen; a sister-in-law, Adeline Peachey of White Pigeon, Michigan.; and two brothers, Caleb (Bertha) Peachey and Joshua (Suvilla) Peachey, both of Belleville, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Fannie Miller; two brothers, Peter and Benjamin Peachey; and a brother-in-law, Levi Miller. A longtime Goshen resident, Mrs. Miller managed the Goshen High School cafeteria for 25 years. She was a member of North Goshen Mennonite Church and the Elkhart County Home Extension. Friends may call, 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m., Thursday, April 12, 2012, funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Merle Hostetler will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Feed the Children.
