Mary E. Logan, 87, of Goshen died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the home of her daughter.
She was born October 11, 1930 in Jefferson County, Alabama to Rev. Olin Clint and Gertrude (Henderson) Tidwell.
On August 14, 1946 she married Dwight Moody Logan. He died April 11, 2001.
Survivors include three children, Mary Ann (Lyle) Crider of Locust Fork, Alabama, Betty (Kirby) Freeland of Goshen, and William Michael (Aycil) Logan of Cleveland, Alabama; seven grandchildren, including local grandchildren, Amy (Teshon) Sanders and Brian (Victoria) Freeland; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A local resident the past 10 years, Mary was a member of Goshen Christian Church. Prior to moving it Indiana, she attended Rosa United Methodist Church, and Locust Fork Baptist Church in Alabama, and worked as a sewer for 23 years at Blue Bell making Wrangler jeans.
She enjoyed attending ladies Bible studies; fishing; and preserving fruits and vegetables.
Friends may call Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and Friday, November 10, 2017 one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service at Goshen Christian Church, 2133 Berkey Ave., Goshen. Pastor Kim Huffman will officiate.
Burial will take place at Dailey’s Chapel Cemetery, Oneonta, Alabama.
