Mary L. Miller, 79, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 22, 2015. at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She had been ill a week. She was born August 2, 1936 in Goshen to Joe B. and Lydia (Troyer) Miller. On October 28, 1954 she married Clyde E. Miller in Topeka. He died February 17, 1967. On May 2, 2015 she married James Conrad in Shipshewana. He survives along with five daughters, Myrna (Jim) Caudle of Terrell, North Carolina, Gayle Bowers of Texas and Rhonda Lord, Beverly (Mark) Stamper and Tricia (Mike) Wyrick all of Elkhart; four sons, Kenny (Paula) Miller and Glen (Jolene) Miller, both of Goshen, Orland (Jody) Miller of Middlebury and David Smith of Texas; 28 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband; a daughter, Heidi Laudon; a great-granddaughter, Kensi Johnson; four sister, Edna and Polly Miller, Sue Yoder and Katie Bontrager; and seven brothers, William J., Roman, David J., Ben J., Noah, Joe B. Jr. and Chris Miller. In 1984 Mrs. Miller moved to Las Vegas and then to North Carolina in 2005. She moved back to Goshen in 2009. She retired April 2005, after 21 years, as a bookkeeper for an electrical contractor in Las Vegas. She received her GED from Goshen High School in 1970. Friends may call Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday, September 25, from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Hospice Chaplain Jane Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
