Mary Rose Kauffman

Mary Rose Kauffman, 90, of Elkhart, died at her home late Monday afternoon, May 26, 2008. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 25, 1917, to Caleb T. and Georgia Detta (Hoovens) Enix.  She married Paul Kauffman in LaGrange on August 27, 1939.  He died March 10, 1999. A homemaker, Mrs. Kauffman lived in the area since 1939. She is survived by a niece, Sue Heckathorn of Las Vegas and a nephew, Tim Enix of St. Joseph, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul and a brother, Caleb F. Enix in 2006. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, May 30, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A private burial will be held in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
