Mary Kathleen “Kate” Lamb, 81, of Goshen, was found at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at her home. She had been ill since January 2008. She was born in Goshen on November 8, 1926, to Jesse and Sylvia Mae (Chadwell) McKee. She graduated from Goshen High School in 1944. Ms. Lamb worked as a head bookkeeper for Landmark and Horseshoe Casinos in Las Vegas where she lived for 30 years before moving back to Goshen about 20 years ago. She then worked for Klines Department Store, Goshen, until they closed and then worked part time for Newell's Ladies' Apparel, Goshen. She loved music and ballroom dancing. She is survived by a son, William K. (Sharron) Lehman of Bristol; three grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Donald “Mick” McKee and Kermit McKee; and a sister, Pauline McKee. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, April 24, at the funeral home. A 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Alan Griffin of the First Presbyterian Church Goshen will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
