Mary Jaskolka, 73, of Geneva, New York, formerly of Goshen, Indiana passed away Sunday, June 22 at her home.
She was born December 11, 1951 in Robesonia, Pennsylvania to Elmer E. and Mary (Kizen) Hartman.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Allen) Ewing and Kelley Jaskolka, both of Goshen; two sons, Thomas Jr. (Suzette) Jaskolka of Elkhart, and Duane (Liz) Jaskolka of Goshen; granddaughter Destiny (Chris Coe) Jaskolka of New Paris; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Marilyn (Ronnie) Henry of Ocala, Florida and three brothers, Elmer Jr. (Susan) Hartman of Westfield, Pennsylvania, Edwin (Sandy) Hartman of Ovid, New York and Henry (Becky) Hartman of Waterloo, New York.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Jaskolka, Sr., and a sister, Bertha Bender.
Mrs. Jaskolka worked for Syndicate Systems in Middlebury and Old Country Buffet. She was famous among family and friends for her lemon meringue pie. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, working on the farm with her brother Henry, and spending time in her flower garden.
Her cats, Morris Jaskolka, Little Girl and Kitty were a special comfort to her. Most of all, Mary was dedicated to her family and adored them.
Visitation in New York will be held Friday, June 27, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Mull Funeral Home, 113 N. Virginia St., Waterloo, New York.
Services in Indiana will take place at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen, Indiana with visitation taking place Tuesday, July 1 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and again on Wednesday, July 2 beginning at 12 p.m. prior to the 1 p.m. funeral also at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
