Mary Jane Hunter

Mary Jane Hunter, 80, of Goshen, died Thursday afternoon, September 29, 2011, at Courtyard Healthcare. She was born June 21, 1931 in Goshen, to the late Thomas and Frances (Humert) Hunter. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Helen Smith, Dorothy Hunter, Elizabeth Shank and Rosemary Pangburn; and two brothers, Richard and Ralph Hunter. A lifetime Goshen resident, Miss Hunter was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Rosary Society, St. Ann's Guild and the VFW Auxiliary #985. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, October 3, at Yoder-Culp Funeral and a half hour prior to the 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2011, funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen. Rev. Father Christopher Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Catholic Church or Courtyard Healthcare for the Activity Program.
